By opening a business this or that entrepreneur preliminarily woks out or comprehends its development strategy, or if to say in a simpler way, he/she asks a question: by taking into account his/her experience, knowledge and skills, to carry out the company’s activity with the aim of its effective development and profitability.
For myself, who graduated the Leningrad Mining Institute in 1969 and who has worked by the recent time at various projects of underground and civil engineering, the response was obvious : this is render of services in construction, development of the construction industry.
By keeping in mind that during performance of construction works in dire places of a city, those works are more problematic which are related to installation and replacement of pipelines (which were mainly performed by an open method) our staff, by using the available experience of Western European countries and USA, was the first in the Republic of Belarus since the very beginning of company establishment (1994) to introduce and successfully developing and improving the technology of replacement of old and installation of various new pipelines (water line, sewerage, siphons, etc) b means of trenchless methods.
Since 1994 and up to the present time this method has been used for installation and replacement of hundreds kilometers of pipelines. In 1994 Mempex Ltd. started to develop and introduce the equipment of various modifications of the own production.
Main important milestones in the history of establishment and development of Mempex Ltd.
December 30, 1994 – establishment of the company
1996 – trenchless replacement of sewerage pipelines having diameter 160 mm for diameter 225 mm was used for the first time in Minsk with the aid of dynamic demolition of old pipes along with installation of LP pipes by 120 running meters.
1998 – a method was introduced for replacement of pipes having diameter 220 mm for diameter 315 mm along with installation of LP pipes and a well to a well.
2001 – a set of MNB-50 equipment was worked out and introduced which makes it possible to perform a complex of works for replacement of old pipes and installation of new pipes by diameter 315 m and length by 100-120 running meters.
The MNB-50 equipment has the Eurasian patent.
2003 - a set of UNB-30 equipment was worked out and introduced which makes it possible to carry out underground passages along with installation of a pipe having diameter by 160 mm both from the surface and from a small pit, the length of pipelines – by 100 running meters.
2005-2006 - a set of MNB-125 equipment was worked out and introduced which makes it possible to replace pipelines made of various materials (ceramics, cast iron, steel, etc.) along with expansion of the existing canal by diameter 600 mm or to make punctures (siphons) along with installation of pipes by 615 mm at the distance by 200-250 running meters.
2005 – disassembled mobile formworks OR-1.5 were worked out and introduced intended for performance of work for installation of new pipes and replacement of old pipes under protection on depths down to 6.0 meters with the use of MNB-50 equipment.
The OR-1.5 equipment has the Eurasian patent.
During a period since 2004 to the present time “Mempex” Co. has provided more than 20 types of various sectioned devices and other components for trenchless replacement and installation of pipelines.
